Dreams of Reality

 by: Nilesh Gore

Every times we discuss about the goals, objectives, success- failure, god- ghost, visions & dreams here I’m putting some very priceless work by an unknown author. with a short story he is presenting dream in inspiring way.

Once there were three trees on a hill in the woods. They were discussing their hopes and dreams when the first tree said, Someday, I hope to be a treasure chest. I could be filled with gold, silver and precious gems and be decorated with intricate carvings. Everyone would see my beauty.

The second tree said, Someday, I will be a mighty ship. I will take kings and queens across the waters and sail to the corners of other world. Everyone will feel safe in me because of the strength of my hull.

Finally, the third tree said, I want to grow to be the tallest and straightest tree in the forest. People will see me on top of the hill and look up to my branches, and think of the heavens and God and how close to them I am reaching. I will be the greatest tree of all time, and people will always remember me.

After a few years of praying that their dreams would come true, a group of woodsmen came upon the trees. One came to the first tree and said, This looks like a strong tree, I think I should be able to sell the wood to a carpenter, and he began cutting it down. The tree was happy, because he knew that the carpenter would make him into a treasure chest.

At the second tree, one of the other woodsman said,This looks like a strong tree. I should be able to sell it to the shipyard. The second tree was happy, because he knew he was on his way to becoming a mighty ship.

When the woodsmen came upon the third tree, the tree was frightened, because it knew that, if it was cut down, its dreams would not come true. One of the woodsmen said,I don’t need anything special from my tree,so I’ll take this one, and he cut it down. When the first tree arrived at the carpenter’s, he was made into a feed box for animals, placed in a barn and filled with hay. This was not at all what he had prayed for. The second tree was cut and made into a small fishing boat. His dreams of being a mighty ship and carrying kings had come to an end. The third tree was cut into large pieces and left alone in the dark.

Then years went by, and the trees forgot about their dreams. Then one day, a man and woman came to the barn. She gave birth, and they placed the baby in the hay in the feed box that was made from the first tree. The man wished that he could have made a crib for the baby, but this manger would have to do. The tree could feel the importance of this event and knew that it had held the greatest treasure of all time.

Years later, a group of men got in the fishing boat made from the second tree. One of them was tired and went to sleep. While they were out on the water, a great storm arose, and the tree didn’t think it was strong enough to keep the men safe. The men woke the sleeping man, and he stood and said Peace, and the storm stopped. At this time, the tree knew that it had carried the King of Kings in its boat.

Finally, someone came and got the third tree. It was carried through the streets, and the crowd mocked the man who was carrying it. Finally, the man was nailed to the tree and raised in the air to die at the top of a hill.

When Sunday came, the tree came to realize that it was strong enough to stand at the top of the hill and be as close to God as was possible, because Jesus had been crucified on it.

The moral of this story is that, when things don’t seem to be going your way, always know that God has a plan for you. If you place your trust in Him, He will give you great gifts. Each of the trees got what they wanted, just not in the way they had imagined. We don’t always know what God’s plans are for us. We just know that His ways are not our ways, but His ways are always best.

Sometimes the heart sees what the eyes can’t.

The late Norman Vincent Peale was a controversial preacher who
burst into public consciousness with his best-selling book, “The
Power of Positive Thinking”. He believed that ordinary people
could become really quite remarkable when they start thinking
that they can do things, and when they believe in themselves,
they have the secret of success.

So many people trying to start a business, don’t believe in
themselves. They look for advice from self proclaimed “gurus”
and try very little on their own. Any MLMer will tell you about
the power of duplicatable systems. While much of this is true,
and it is not always necessary to re-invent the wheel, many miss
a very important point.

A duplicatable system does not demand that you memorize a script.
It basically means that you know your product, and have seen what
has worked for others, and follow their lead. If you add your
own ingenuity and your sales efforts, you will do even better.

If you aren’t the creative type, it really is best to follow a
tried and true system. But if you are, you are selling yourself
short if you don’t branch out and develop some of your own
techniques. If you believe in yourself as well as your product
you have a winning combination.

If you look back in history, you will see many examples of
ordinary people who have achieved extraordinary results. Many of
the best known people who have left their mark in the pages of
history, failed a number of times on their climb up the ladder.
This is not a “history lesson” so we won’t go into the specifics,
but there is no doubt this is true.

These people all had something in common. They had self
confidence as well as tenacity in achieving their goals, and a
sense of fulfillment. Most successful people have a “can do”
attitude. While failure is always a possibility, they don’t
become fixated on avoiding failure and approach life with an
upbeat attitude.

You must however have a goal clearly in mind. This can be
referred as a vision of what you want your life to be. It’s like
the parent asking their child what they want to be when they grow
up. If you don’t have a clear vision as to where you want to be,
your odds of success are greatly diminished. You, and only you,
can decide where you want to go on your travel through life.

But you can’t sit on the top of a hill and think pleasant
thoughts all day. You have to come down to the real world and set
your goals and objectives. You have to set priorities and have a
plan to meet them on a regular basis. You must have a plan of
action, and follow it. In other words, “plan your work and work
your plan”. While things come up to delay you at times, you must
meet your goals each day. You must be organized, and have a
system in place to attain your objectives. Without one, your ship
will certainly founder. Excuses don’t count. Leave these behind
you. Build your own personal image of success.

Do you spend any time honing your skills? Community involvement
is a great way to do this. Get out and meet people. Do some
public speaking – anything to allow you to practice your
techniques when dealing with people. Most sales are not product
driven. If people believe in you, you are more than halfway home
to making a sale.

If you are fired with enthusiastic ideas and allow them to
dominate your thoughts, you will find that new horizons will
open. As long as your enthusiasm lasts, so will new
opportunities. Don’t wait for the world to beat a path to your
door – it won’t. Search out and seek new ventures.

Allow yourself to think outside the boundaries. Remember, failure
is merely a stepping stone on your road to success, and if you
exercise positive thinkingFeature Articles, you will reach your objective.

I. WIN YOUR OWN LOTTO

When people talk about enrichment, they are usually
thinking of financial enrichment. (Show me the money!)
But, we can enrich many other aspects of our lives too
such as: spiritual, mental, physical, and social, as
examples. Winning the multi-dollar lotto is not
impossible, but are you spending your life waiting for
your fortune to come to you? For those of you that
feel powerless at work, you have more control over your
destiny than you think you do.

Why don’t you win you OWN Lotto?!? Yes, that’s right.
What is stopping you from winning big in your own life?

A friend of mine owns a PC Support service called Geeks
4 Rent http://www.geeks4rent.com/. What started out as
a hobby for him a few years ago is now his full time
business. This is a guy who knew what he wanted and
devoted most of his time, money, and energy to creating
his own PC Support business. As someone who has worked
at a Helpdesk for five years, I know that very few
people have more knowledge of computers than my friend
who runs Geeks 4 Rent. He is working at his dream job
and gets paid very well for it. He won his own Lotto!

You can win your won Lotto if you embrace the challenge
and possibility of the future. Remember the Charles
Dickens classic “A Christmas Carol?” Scrooge had no
desire to change. The ghosts of Christmas Past,
Present, and Future convinced Scrooge to change by
showing him where he had been, where he was, and where
he’d end up if he continued to live his life the way he
did. By the end of the story, Scrooge was a changed man
because he learned to embrace the future rather than be
afraid of it.

Yes. Change IS scary. The unknown is scary too. Too
many of us live with regret and we hold on to past
mistakes. Of course, there are some regrets that we
cannot overcome. But we CAN react to present events and
be proactive about avoiding tomorrow’s misgivings. What
do you want your future to bring? What do you want your
life to look like? How will you win your own Lotto?

II. TOP WAYS TO MAXIMIZE YOUR TALENTS AT WORK

Are you maximizing your strengths and promoting your
talents at work? If you have sharp analytical skills,
have you sought to apply those skills to your current
job? I know it sounds crazy to ask for more work when
you are already overloaded, but any assistance that
you can provide now will ultimately help you advance
in your present position or in a future one.

You have gifts and talents to offer the world. Your
current or potential employer desperately needs to use
your talents NOW, especially since they are focused on
increasing revenue.

Just what ARE your talents and how can you apply them
to your career?

1. Discover Your Hidden Talents

a. What are your strengths and weaknesses?
b. How can you capitalize on your strengths and improve
your weaknesses?
c. Can you enhance your strengths and dissipate your
weaknesses by learning on-the-job or by taking
additional classes or training?

2. Promote Your Talents Within

a. Once you have an analysis of the talents you have to
offer, start promoting them. If you don’t tout them,
then no one will.
b. Talk with your boss about helping out the team.
Your pathway to the top is by being someone who can be
counted on.

3. Take Action

a. After you tell your employer about your hidden
talents and your ideas for using them, you must live
by your words. Remember your integrity is at stake and
that means something.
b. Using your talents is not a one-day project; it is
a way to live and work more effectively every day.
So go out there, and put your talent to work!

It may be hard to focus on your talents when the world
around you is so uncertain. Put your worries behind
you, and your best foot forward. You can be proud of
your effort no matter what the future may bringFree Reprint Articles,
because you swung out and gave it your best shot.

How To Start, Survive, and Finish Your Journey To Super Success

 by: Michael Lee

“The more you hate, the more you love.”

What an ironic statement. Whoever said those words must have been drunk. The bottom line is this: It is extremely difficult to like or love something that you despise.

But what can we do to solve this dilemma? What if you’re trapped in an environment that you don’t want to be involved in? What if you’re sick and tired of your job that you feel like puking every time someone mentions your work?

Of course, you take inspired and motivated action to get out of your present rut and start living the life you’ve always dreamed of.

Guess what? It’s not going to be easy. You will have to come out of your comfort zones to discover potentials and opportunities waiting for you. You have to conquer your fear and take calculated risks. You have to stay focused and persevere despite the difficulties you will encounter.

Success doesn’t come easy. It takes heart and passion. It may also take some time before you can actually reap the fruits of your labor.

But how do you actually survive this stage? This is the moment when you’re working extra hard to reach your goals. This is also the instance when you’re enduring whatever adversity hits you.

For example, you’re employed in a job that you hate. You know deep inside that you would not like to stay in the rat race throughout your life. So you decided to engage in a part-time business or to study night courses. Good move, my friend.

So far so good. A few days later, time started running out for you. Your family complains that you’ve never spoken a word to them in such a long time. You’re getting crazy over your very hectic schedule. Soon enough, your attitude changes negatively. You get mad and frustrated over the tiniest setbacks. You hate the world for all the misery it has brought upon you.

Stop right now!

That is not the way to go. You are attracting negative elements into your life. Yes, you have to work harder, dig deeper, and sacrifice more to attain your ambitions. But no, you don’t have to hate the world and feel bad about your difficult situation. Remember the Law of Attraction. If you hate the world, the world hates you back.

So what do you have to do?

Learn to love your current situation. See all the positive sides of life. Be enthusiastic. Love your boss, your coworkers, your family, your friends, and even strangers that you meet on the streets. It may not be easy, but nothing is impossible with a strong will power. Just don’t fall in love so much that you totally forget about your dreams.

Balance is the key. Dream and take some positive action to move you toward your goals. Take it one step at a time. But while you’re slowly crawling into the long journey to success, be patient and be as enthusiastic as possible. Don’t hurry up too much that you totally forget how to enjoy life.

One fine day, you will finally attain what you have always longed for. But when that day comes, don’t spit back on the face of those who belittled you before.

Stay humble. Don’t look down on others when you see that you are becoming more successful than they are. Help them. Inject your positive aura into their personalities. When you give, you will yield back equal or greater rewards.

Are you ready to begin the journey? Start it with the courage and desire to improve your life. Survive and go through it with persistence, enthusiasm, and positive thinking. Finish it with a resounding bang of accomplishment and with the desire to help others succeed as well.
