Ageless Principles of Success(6)

 by: Song Chengxiang

With Proven Techniques for practical applications.

The Principle of NOW:

Dear friend, have you ever wonder what time is? Once you truly understand the real meaning of time, you will never experience worry, anxiety and unhappiness again. Actually time is just an illusion.

“No matter how persistent the illusion of time is, the illusion of past, present, and future is still an illusion.”

——-Einstein

Scientific study of quantum physics has already prove that the only moment that exist is NOW! There is no past, no future, there is only one moment, and that is the moment of NOW! The past and future is only the perception that exist in the human mind. What you think in the past or in the future is just an illusion in your mind. Now is the only time that exists.

The illusion of time makes us think that the moments of past, present and future separate from each other. In reality, they are all happening now. Everything happens NOW!. if you are not convinced by the concept of NOW, then try to do something yesterday or tomorrow right now. It is impossible. Think about it, when do you remember your past? you remember it now. When do you dream your future, you dream it now. There is no any means that you can experience the past or the future, because they don’t really exist, they are only a mental concept. When you think you are in your past or in your future, you are actually still in the moment of now. There is no separation of time, everything happens now!

If you truly live in the present moment of now, you will not have any problem at all. All the so called problems happens in your imaginary future. You experience them in your mind. If you fully concentrate on the present moment, and handle what you are suppose to handle at the moment, you will never experience any problem. A wise seer says ” I don’t worry about the past, and I am not fearful of the future because my life is supremely concentrated in the present, and the right response comes to me, to every situation as it occurs.” This is the timeless awareness. In timeless awareness, you don’t experience fear, anxiety and worry. You are in flow. You are one with the source energy. One way to experience the timeless awareness is to choose to live in the present now. Watch your mind, observe it. Your mind will always tries to escape the present moment, because the only reference point it has is the past. You can simply observe it, the moment you realize your mind is escaping the present moment, you are actually in the present moment.

Since NOW is the only moment that exists, the question is why do I experience what I am experiencing now, but not anything else. The answer to that question is that you have chosen it. At this magic moment of now, there are infinite number of things happening, and you are free to choose to experience any one of them. You made your choice by sending out an command to the Universal Mind ( or call it Cosmic Mind, Infinite Intelligence, Source Energy or God.). Depending on your certainty and clarity, the Universal Mind brings to you exactly what you send out. At some point of this space-time continuum, you had sent out your command, the Universe took your instruction, and worked perfectly on it. That is exactly what you are experiencing now. At the moment of now, you have infinite number of choices, you can experience any one of them by sending out your instructions. The Universe will bring to you exactly what you want depending on your certainty and clarity. It is important to know that the universe takes all your instructions, good or bad, and work equally on them. It can not choose for you. You have to make your own choice with certainty and clarity. Once you make your choice, let the universe to handle the details.

How to put this principle into practice?

(1) Consistently monitor your mind. Keep it concentrate on the present moment of now.

(2) Anytime you find yourself worry about the future, remind yourself ” Now is the only time that exists, the past and the future is just an illusion that exists in my mind. I choose to fully concentrate on the present moment of NOW!”

(3) Practice daily meditation. Experience the timeless awareness.

P.S. I learned most of the concepts in this article from a person I admire most Dr Robert Anthony. His revolutionary audio program “KNOW HOW TO BE RICH” is really life changing to me. Use this three step approach to start a conversation with
anyone! Stop fearing meeting people! Apply the three step
approach now. Memorize these and have them in your arsenal
to start a conversation with a customer, stranger, or new
contact.

1. Start by saying some plain statement. “Nice Party.”
“Nice weather.” “Long stoplight.” “Nice airport.” Etc.
Just a simple, statement, comment, etc.

2. After breaking the ice and getting them to nod or
verbally agree. Make another plain statement. It may work
to bounce off the first one. “Nice coat you are wearing.”
“Interesting car over there.” “The weather has been nice
for the past three weeks.” Etc. At this point you should
know whether he/she is open at all to talking.

3. Show interest in him by asking something. Use your
discretion in determining which questions to ask. You
should show interest but do not be to nosy at first.

Ask about something they are wearing, holding, etc.
Example: If they are wearing a name tag, ask about it.
Ask for their opinion on the weather, why the bus is late,
politics, etc. Show interest in their child, car, or
something that they are wearing or holding.Ask how their
day is going. “How do you spend most of your time?” Come up
with your own conversation starters.

Throughout these opening questions you are trying to gain
little nuggets of knowledge. You will then use these to
show interest in those areas, or ask his/her opinion about
them. If he/she reveals that s/he is a writer. Ask his/her
opinion on how young writers can get started writing.
Continue the conversation from there using other “Magic-
People-Skills” techniques. Observe and look for an
opportunity to show interest. This will then get them
talking.

You need to realize that there is no one right way to
start a conversation. Use your mind and decide which
phrases to use. If they do not want to talk, do not make
them talk. Also give out some information about yourself
(use discretion) so it does not seem that you are
interrogating them. You know the skillsFree Reprint Articles, now apply them.

Do you realize how good you have it? Yes, everyone has problems,
but it could be worse than what it is now. Yes, everyone has a
bad day or two, but it could be worse. Life can throw some
serious curveballs at us sometimes.

Be thankful for the problems you have now and for those bad days
when they come. They are there for a reason – to help you learn
to pull through and to help you realize what you do want in life.

A lot of us don’t know what we really want until we find out what
we don’t want. Or we find ourselves in a situation that we truly
don’t like.

By learning from these situations, finding out what we really
want and focusing on what we really want, that’s how we get to
where we want to be.

You have a job that you despise. You hate going to work
everyday, you’re boss is non-supportive, etc, etc. But you need
the money to pay your bills. You’re in a catch-22. Do you quit
your job and be happy or do you keep your job and be miserable?

Well, I quit my job last month and I haven’t been happier since.
Yes it’s a little harder now but my husband is supportive and
understanding. It’s better to have a little less cash flow than
to have a stressed out wife. Our home is more harmonious now and
I have time to do the things that I was too stressed out to do
before. New opportunities have opened up for me that wouldn’t
have if I was still caught up in the corporate world dealing with
my day to day stress.

Raising kids and taking care of a household is a full-time job in
itself but adding a stressful job that doesn’t pay what you’re
worth makes you reconsider your priorities.

True, I could have found a different job but I would have just
put myself back into the same situation as before. I have a
background in computers so getting a technical job would have
been easy. But I didn’t want to go back to that world and the
corporate world isn’t that much better. So I decided to do what
was best for me and my family for the long run.

That job taught me a valuable lesson and I am thankful for it. I
learned what I didn’t want in a job and I realized that I wasn’t
going to be happy in a traditional work environment. I had to
create a job that I liked which is what I’m doing now with
Creation Journeys.

I’m not advising anyone to just up and quit their job. What I am
saying is that if you’re in a situation that is not working stop
and figure out what the problem is. For me, the list of problems
with my old job was enormous, there was a serious management
issue going on and the right people weren’t doing the right thing
about it. For you, it might be something that can be fixed.

Try and see the part that you don’t like and find out what it is
you do like. This applies to any situation, not just work. Take
stock of the situation and look for a solution. There’s no point
in complaining about something if you’re not going to try and fix
it.

We get hit with a curveball sometimes. That happens because we
need to get whacked upside the head every now and then. It’s
just a way to point us back in the right direction. Yes, it does
hurt sometimes but you can prevent more curveballs by paying
attention to what it is you want and focusing on getting there.
The more you focus, the fewer curveballs. And if you’re thankful
for the curveballs you do get and really appreciate the lessons
attached to themComputer Technology Articles, they’ll hurt less over time.

What is the Color of the Wind?

 by: Rodney Ohebsion

“What is the color of the wind?”

“Sitting quietly, doing nothing, spring comes and the grass grows by itself.”

“When I eat, I eat. When I sleep, I sleep.”

“What is your original face, before your mother and father were born?”

These are all Zen sayings. Zen is a branch of Buddhism that teaches about mastering the mind, and releasing a distorted sense of reality. Instead of attempting to grasp reality, but Zen philosophy teaches people to observe, accept, and acknowledge reality. Zen also teaches practitioners about realizing or acknowledging the enlightened nature already within themselves.

Now in the new book A Collection of Wisdom, author Rodney Ohebsion shares some of the best of Zen, all in a clear, efficient, and vibrant format. Here are some of the Zen Buddhism teachings in the book:

Be master of mind rather than mastered by mind. (Buddha)

Overcoming yourself is better than overcoming everyone else, because then the victory is yours, and cannot be taken from you by anyone… (Buddha)

First direct yourself to what is right; and then teach others. (Buddha)

Do not neglect your own needs for someone else’s… and recognize your needs so you will know what to do. (Buddha)

They criticize one who remains silent, they criticize one who talks a lot, and they even criticize one who talks in moderation. There is no one in the world who is not criticized. There is not, never was, and never will be a person who lives life on earth and is always praised or always criticized. (Buddha)

Sometimes you need to slow down so that the thing you are chasing will come around and catch you. (Zen saying)

What is the sound of one hand clapping? (Zen saying)

The infinite is in the finite of every moment. (Zen saying)

Sitting quietly, doing nothing, spring comes and the grass grows by itself. (Zen saying)

If you understand, things are just as they are. If you do not understand, things are just as they are. (Zen saying)

Two mirrors facing each other. There is no image in between. (Zen saying)

First monk: “The flag is moving.”

Second monk: “The wind is moving.”

Patriarch: “Not the wind, not the flag. Mind is moving.” (Zen koan)

Disciple: “What is your Way?”

Master: “What is right now?”(Zen koan)

The Way is perfect like vast space, where nothing is lacking and nothing is in excess. (Seng Tsan)

Look within! … What I tell you is not secret. The secret is in you. (Hui Neng)

If I meet a hundred-year-old man and I have something to teach him, I will teach; if I meet an eight-year-old boy and he has something to teach me, I will learn. (Joshu)

If your mind is not clouded by unnecessary things, this is the best season of your life. (Wu Men)

This day will not come again. Each minute is worth a priceless gem. (Master Takuan Sono)
